This ever so smooth and elegant Pinot Noir raises the bar on fine and delicately balanced Pinot. This wine possesses an elixir like essence focused on ripe strawberry, cola and  cherry Chapstick. The bright red fruits rush to fill the nose and are wrapped and lifted with a supporting hint of candle-like French Oak vanillin. Soft round flavors of cola bean, maraschino cherry, strawberry creme fraiche and kiwi fruit. Sourced from Dutton family Widdoes vineyard. 100 cases.

With 61% hailing from the 40 year old Dutton Widdoes Vineyard and 29% sourced from the legendary Bacigalupi Vineyard, this Pinot offers depth of dark fruit and warmth of a plush, velvety mouthfeel. This Pinot has focused aromas of strawberry, ripe cherry and hibiscus. On the palate you’ll find a tension of acidity supporting strawberry, ginger, and small hints of minty herbs.  Aged 15 months in 100% new French Oak, bottled unfiltered and unfined.  Enjoy now and it will cellar beautifully!

The grapes for this outstanding vintage come from the Dutton Ranch in the Russian River area of Sonoma. These 40+ year old vines give us so much. With beautiful red hues and lovely rampant aromatics to start, the favors open up to maraschino cherry, vanilla candle, cassis, ginger and hints of forest floor. Aged in 100% new French oak, this wine will age beautifully and can be enjoyed for years to come.
